By the help of God, “I Smile”, is an inspiration motivated by the situations surrounding a believer, mostly young people whose joy has in one way or the other been deprived.
On several occasions we are faced with a whole lot of things (good or bad), and as a younger believer, we need to have this matured thought on what our God can do, what He takes us for, how passionate He is about us and His thoughts towards us.
According to Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”.
As a young writer, I long to reflect God, and His Works in my writings, reflecting realities and occurrences that we the young people face, what should be our reactions, and the reasons behind our reactions, to enable us to keep going, not to fall prey into the arms of depressions, and from seeing going astray and giving up as an option.
When you go through ups and downs at last you realize God is still with you, watching over you, guiding your steps and your legs being dashed against a stone, you smile.
God is the God of all universe, therefore, did not create people He cannot care for, neither did He create territories that He cannot protect, but our desperation and urgent acquisition for material things has costs us a lot.
Not because I don’t have a need, or I am total okay, but for the sake of what is ahead I Smile;
I Smile because I am totally different from others, I Smile because God is taking me somewhere, I smile because I was made by the Best Architecture and a King whose words are laws and Handiworks are in perfect expressions, I Smile because my existence is for a great purpose and the name of my God will be glorified through it, I Smile because every plan of God towards me is possible and achievable, and because what God cannot do does not exist.
What is coming is greater and better than what has passed, it doesn’t matter how big it was, our future is promising more.
The enemies might think they have pushed you to the wall, but knowing too well that God has actually turn the whole situation for your lifting is a call to Smiling.
We should know that, what we face is not a death sentence, but a test of faith, and it's essential for the making of man. And in all these things, we are more than a conqueror.
I use people's beautiful, decent and smiling pictures to grace each writing because is not just about me, but about us. I am not the only who is enjoying God’s favour we are all in this together, if only you will not allow yourselves from being distracted from your current situations.
